What is a summer camp?

Get ready for the best summer of your life! Summer camps run in the Northern Hemisphere’s summer, when school’s out, from generally late May to August. A tradition that dates back many years in some countries, families send their kids each year to get outdoors for the summer holidays; making friends, memories and learning skills that will last them a lifetime. But those advantages aren’t just for the kids, you will get all of that out of the trip too! As a summer camp counsellor, you’ll be running fun activities for school-aged kids, often living on-site and discovering unique traditions first hand. With most of your living expenses covered whilst at summer camp, you’ll also earn a generous stipend to fund your travels after camp.
